Round ‘em up and come on down, ya hear?
Vail, CO (May 2009) – Vail, CO – East West Partners and its sister companies – Slifer Smith and Frampton Real Estate, Allegria Spa and East West Resorts is proud to announce the 2009 beneficiaries for this year’s East West Hoedown. Colorado Mountain College Hero Scholarship Program and First Descents will be this year’s local groups receiving proceeds from this event. This year’s event will be held on Friday September 11th, 2009 at the Eagle County Fairgrounds located right off of the Eagle exit.
The East West Hoedown will include a Silent Auction, dinner, dancing and music by The Laughing Bones along with some other great western themed activities.
Come and enjoy the fun while bidding on great prizes and benefiting local charities. Remember to wear your western gear!

Angels in Action 5K Benefit Run
The Angels in Action 5K Run/Walk is held each summer to benefit the Crissa Lea Swinford Memorial Scholarship Fund. Each year, the event grows with over one hundred people taking part in the run/walk at Nottingham Park and along the Eagle River in Avon, Colorado.
The 2009 race will be Saturday, August 1st, 2009.
The race benefits The Crissa Lea Swinford Memorial Scholarship. This merit scholarship is awarded to Battle Mountain High School students who display the characteristics displayed by Crissa Lea Swinford. Last year, the fund awarded two $2,500 scholarships to two young women from Battle Mountain High School. All proceeds from the race go directly to the scholarship fund.
